Hace pocos días (20/12/24) se dieron a conocer las películas, series, cortometrajes, videojuegos y comerciales animados que fueron nominados a la edición N° 52 de los Annie Awards.
En el día de hoy venimos a repasar a los nominados de estos prestigiosos premios y contarte todo lo que necesitas saber antes de la ceremonia.
¿Qué son los Annie Awards?
Debido a que es la primera vez en Perspectiva Animada que hablamos de esta premiación nos parece apropiado dar una breve introducción al que es, para muchos, el premio más prestigioso en el mundo de la animación.
Creados en 1972 los Annie reconocen lo mejor del año en materia animada a lo largo de diferentes medios y son galardonados por ASIFA-Hollywood, una subsidiaria estadounidense de ASIFA (International Animated Film Association).
Aquí tenemos una diferencia principal con, por ejemplo, los Premios Oscar. Al tratarse de un reconocimiento entregado por y para profesionales de la industria, hay una garantía de que las nominaciones y premiados están elegidos por gente especializada en el tema.
Los Nominados:
En la lista de nominaciones ya podemos ver cómo se han desempeñado los grandes estudios este 2024. Sorprendentemente en materia de películas fue Disney el que consiguió menos nominaciones (7) con Intensamente 2, filme que logró notables hazañas en taquilla. Dreamworks por otra parte tuvo un gran año con Kung Fu Panda 4 (3) y Robot Salvaje (10) acumulando 13 nominaciones, siendo esta última la película más nominada de la noche. Finalmente, y tal vez para sorpresa de algunos es Netflix, de la mano de Ultraman: El Ascenso (3), Aquella Navidad (6) y por supuesto Wallace y Gromit: La Venganza se Sirve con Plumas (7), quien llega a tener la mayor cantidad de nominaciones con un total de 16.
En cuanto a series animadas tenemos a los viejos conocidos de siempre: Bob’s Burgers, Los Simpsons, South Park, etc. Pero también tenemos contendientes únicos de esta premiación como Disney y su serie basada en el universo de Intensamente, Dream Productions, Nickelodeon y su nueva serie de Las Tortugas Ninja y por supuesto, Netflix y Fortiche quienes nos trajeron la segunda y última temporada de Arcane.

DreamWorks hará muchas cosas, , por ejemplo, ARRUINAR TODO (a veces) Pero, cuando realmente quiere, es un estudio que hace magia. The Wild Robot es una obra maestra. Me encanta cuando un estudio supera todas mis expectativas, aunque sean sumamente altas.
Sé que existen Shrek 2 y Cómo Entrenar a tu Dragón 2, pero, en mi opinión, la obra magna del estudio es esta película. La película es profunda y motivadora. ¿Cómo tenemos que adaptarnos a la naturaleza? ¿Cuál es la verdadera diferencia entre la familia con la que nacemos y la familia que termina criándonos? Todo eso nos hace cuestionar de una manera adulta, aunque sin olvidar que es para “niños” (ponele).
Te preguntarás ¿por qué tanto texto? Ni puta idea xd, simplemente quería rellenar para terminar diciendo que es lo mejor que tuvo 2024 y que debería estar nominado en todo, aunque no tenga nada que ver, y ganarlo.
